Facilities Management Working Group

The responsibility of the Facilities Management Working Group is:

  • Overseeing the integration of activities and services within the building, ensuring that all users are engaged and work within the culture and ethos of the project.
  • Acting as a point of communication for the user groups regarding the management and operation of the building.
  • Informing the development of policies and procedures concerning aspects of the day to day running of the building including health and safety, fire and risk regulations, equal opportunities etc.
  • Overseeing day to day maintenance of the building, insurances and security.
  • Overseeing HR issues including contracts of employment and training .
  • Acting as ambassadors for the project.
  • Encouraging membership of Wells Maltings Trust through word of mouth, contacts and events.
  • Promoting volunteering opportunities.
  • Collecting email addresses to help build the Maltings contact database.
  • Suggesting ideas for and supporting community fundraising initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with other working groups to deliver the aims of the project
