Internationally renowned bird photographer Chris Knights will speak about bird photography on the Saltmarsh Coast.

Chris Knights was born and bred in Norfolk.  An early interest in cameras lead him to become a film maker, working for Anglia Television’s Survival series. For five years he was About Anglia’s ‘Countryman’ making short films about local wildlife for a regular slot on local television. He now concentrates on still photography and continues to travel extensively His work has been widely published in books and magazines and he has won many awards including British Bird magazine’s ‘Bird Photographer of the Year’ three times.  An active conservationist and vice-chairman of the Countryside Restoration Trust, Chris has given many illustrated talks on wildlife and conservation. We are very fortunate to have him as our next speaker in the series on The Birds of the Saltmarsh Coast at The Gordon Barrett Memorial Hall.
