Based on the true story of a Kosovan woman whose husband went missing during the Balkan wars of the 90’s. In order to provide for herself and her children she sets up a women-only collective with other war widows making honey and other local delicacies to sell. This provokes hostility and violence from the men in the village who are threatened by the women’s growing confidence and independence.
