OPEN MIC FOR NATIONAL POETRY DAY
Thu 1 October from 7pm
Free entry – donations welcome – bar open

We are celebrating National Poetry Day with a very special themed open mic event, aimed at sharing and enjoying poetry in all its forms.

Come along from 7pm, bring a few pieces to read and share if you wish, or just sit back and enjoy a kaleidoscope of verse and prose. The year’s theme is Wonder, but don’t let that constrain your creativity!

Thanks to our supporters, we’ll be offering People’s Choice prizes for the best original piece of poetry, and the best poetry rendition of the evening.
