The new Maltings building has had close to 50,000 people through its doors since we opened in July last year.

Our busy café is a focal point for visitors, open seven days a week and offering a range of drinks, snacks, cakes and other goodies in relaxed surroundings.

We now need to recruit staff to work in providing great service and even greater food and drink to our customers.

You will work front of house, but will also spend time in the kitchen preparing food (mainly light lunches and snacks) for our busy cafe facility. Therefore, experience in food preparation and food hygiene/handling certification will be required.

You will work to a flexible rota over 7 days a week, but hours could be managed flexibly around other job or family commitments within reason.

Excellent customer service skills required, as well as attention to detail, knowledge of food preparation and service, and beverage dispense/barista skills would be an advantage (although training will be given). Knowledge of bar work also an advantage.
