With the UK making good progress along the Government’s plan for releasing COVID related restrictions, Wells Maltings is planning to be fully reopen once more from Monday 17 May. Indoor café operations, box office, visitor information services, heritage centre and retail will open from 10am on that day. Our cultural programmes will also be restarting that week, and we are thrilled to be welcoming you back into our venue.
Measures to protect public and staff will remain in place, as they were before lockdown in December –
The wearing of face coverings remains mandatory in all areas of the building unless seated for food and drink, including when seeing an event inside.
Social distancing at 2m will remain in place, and hand sanitising and other measures will also be required.
Test and Trace logging will also be mandatory for customers.
These measures will be reviewed in line with the Government plans, and targets for further release of restrictions over the summer. As before, our priority is to keep our community, our visitors and our staff as safe as possible in what we hope will be the final steps along the road to recovery.
